Interpellation of Khalid al-Adsani, the minister of commerce and industry, on three issues: 1) the rise in prices, 2) the implementation of the law regulating companes, 3) discrimination between citizens in the granting of agencies for importation of goods. The vote was held on 23 May 1974.

A vote of confidence was held, but the minutes of the session do not record the vote by name. Nonetheless, many spoke for and against the interpellation on the floor of the Assembly.

The final vote was:

13 for withdrawing confidence

0 to retain confidence

30 abstentions

Thus the move to withdraw confidence failed.
